If you have seen the film or have been touched by the struggle of TBI recovery and would like to affect some positive change, there are several important steps you can take.

HOST A SCREENING
Spread the word about COMA the film, and the importance of TBI issues by hosting a screening at your home or community center. Purchase the DVD of COMA here and organize a screening using the easy to use screening headquarters here. You can advertise your screening by contacting your local BIAA office here.

REACH OUT TO YOUR LEGISLATOR
Learn about issues that are currently up for debate or legislation and then make your voice heard by contacting your legislator and let them know what you think about the current and relevant TBI issues.  Our outreach partner BIAA has a legislative action center where you can learn about issues currently being legislated in Washington, D.C., click here to learn more about the current issues. You can find your legislator here,  just input your zip code and you will link to a page where you can email or call your members of congress, don't forget they work for you!

The local media is more responsive to receiving story ideas that you might think. If you have a story you would like to share about your experience with TBI recovery, perhaps to highlight the great work of your local hospital, or if there were challenges in receiving the care that was needed, you can do so here. Enter your zip code and you will be provided with links to directly connect with local newspapers, television, and radio.
